In Sanity Wars you are in command of an army of Angels, Draconians, Undeads or Demons. To be successful, you must manage your army and defeat your enemies. You must keep your troops in top condition and recover from losses. A powerful army will be strong in all four aspects of the game: attacking, defending, spying, and counter-intelligence. This makes it important to keep your forces and efforts relatively balanced in all these areas. There are a number of ways to build your army and thus generate more gold and become more powerful:

You can get people clicking your recruit link, giving you 5 soldiers everytime its clicked. Those are called tbg soldiers, because you receive from them turn based gold. The more soldiers the bigger tbg.

You can also recruit other people as your officers - for every two clicks your officers gain from their links, you will gain 5 soldiers.

You may also buy mercenaries - soldiers that will fight for you but will not generate extra gold.
They are useful when fighting in a battle you won't lose tbg soldiers.

The race Angels get a 25% more money bonus, Angels receive 31 gold, Other races receive 25 gold every soldier.

The other way to obtain gold is Attack turns, stealing money from other players.

There are also magic turns, called mana, each spell has its own cost.

Getting Started (Creating/Activating your account)

Before you can start to play Sanity Wars you need do the following:
First you need create an account by either: Clicking on the Register link, or clicking on the Join under lord link if you clicked on someone's personal link (you become there officer). You will be asked for the following information: Username: To identify you in the game (offensive names are not permitted). Password: Enter a password to access your account. Email: you must enter a valid email address as an email is sent with you activation link, you can?t play until this link has been clicked. Rules: you must read the rules once you have, you can tick the confirmation box. Register: once all of the above is completed you can click on the Register button.

Menu Bar

The Menu Bar contains most of the important features and tools of SanityWars. Located on the left side of the page, it allows you to navigate through different aspects of your army and manage your forces.

Command Center

The Command Center is where you can see a overview of your account.
* User Info shows your general contact information.
* Military Overview Shows you general military stats, such as what your siege level is at and what fortifications you have.
It also shows you how much gold you have and how much you are generating, And it showns your how many Attack and Mana turns you currenly have.
* Officers that you may have show up under this heading. Officers help build your army, and you may also choose to work with them as close allies, Theres also a button to send a message to all of you officers so you can contact them all with little hassle.
* Military Effectiveness shows you your Attack, Defense, Covert, and Magic ratings, as well as how you are ranked against other players in these categories.
This section shows you how well you are doing and how you stack up to other players in each aspect of the game.
* Personnel shows you how your forces are distributed.
* Preferences is where you go to modify the setting on your account. Be very careful in this section - many of the changes here cannot be undone ie. Recovering deleted accounts.
* Your Recruiting Link is found at the bottom of the Command Center. This is the primary method many players use to build their armies. Give this link to your friends and once per day a person can click it. Each time your link is clicked you will get an additional 5 soldier and the person who clicked it will be invited to join the war and become your officer . For every two clicks any of your officers get, you will receive another 5 additional soldiers - this means getting officers can be a big way to boost your army size.

Attack

When you wish to voenture out beyond the safety of your fortifications, click the Attack button. Here, you will view the Battlefield, a listing of other players ranked close to you. There you can view the other players currenly Army size and there gold. You can browse through the battlefield and search for other armies to attack or spy on. Once you click on a player's name you will see their full User Stats, where you can see basic info about the player. From there User Stats page you can choose to either ignore them and find someone esle to attack, or you can attack them. When attacking you use your Attack turns.
* Attack Mission - If you attack successfully, you will steal a portion of the enemy's available gold based on how many attack turns you used, the damage you inflicted, There is also a chance that you or/and your opponent will suffer casualties, based on army size and damage inflicted.
* Reconnaissance Mission - You can conduct Recon missions to view info about an opponent's fortifications and forces. The chance that the mission is a success is dependant on the overall strength of the spies you send, as well as the enemy's Sentry Rating. If the mission is not a success you will sometimes lose a portion of the spies you sent. When you recon someone you send your spy's to check there defence and Decide weather you can beat them or not.
* Sending Spells - If your opponent has more defensives, perhaps you may choose to engage in sabotage. In these missions, when you send a number of spells you specify what type and quantity weapons you want to try to destroy. If your spell make it past enemy they will attempt to destroy part of the enemy's armory. If you attempt to destroy too much of the enemy's armory the sabotage will likely fail, and no sabotage mission is guaranteed to be successful. At the moment there are only two types of spells which you can cast, - Call A Demon | When calling a Demon, you destroy your enemy's weapons.
- Fire blast | When performing a Fire blast you kill your enemys soilders.

Attack Log

In the attack log you can see details on all ingoing and outgoing attacks. This can be very useful meathod to see how much offensive and defensive damage you do on average, who you need protection from or which armys you have won before.

Armory

Your Armory is where you keep track of your weapons, and keep them in fighting condition, Its also where you buy them.
* Current Weapon Inventory is where you see the weapons you currently own, as well as their strengths. If your weapons are damaged, it is cheaper to repair them than to buy new ones. You can also sell weapons at a reduced rate for gold.
* Buy Weapons allows you to purchase new weapons for your forces. In general, the more expensive a weapon is, the stronger it is. Each soldier can only carry 1 weapon.
* Upgrade Fortifications is where you can strengthen your permanent defenses. This makes it much more difficult to be attacked successfully.
Fortifications strengthen your defensive units as a whole, Each time you upgrade, you increase your Defence by 33%.
* Upgrade Siege Technology allows you to purchase new technologies to attack your opponents. This strengthens your army as a whole, Also this increase your Strike by 33%.

Magic

*Current Weapon Inventory is where you see the magic weapons you currently own.
*Upgrade Magic Level, When you upgrade your magic level your Magic increase.
*Spells, You can spend magic weapons to buy certine stuff, ie. Spending 5 Amphisbaena Elixir Items will increase your Strike Action 5% until the next turn.

Training

* Personnel shows you how many soldiers, mercenaries, spies, etc you have.
* Train Your Troops allows you train your untrained soldiers to be attack or defense specialists, or to be skilled in the subterfuge of spies.
Here you can also revert any attack or defense soldiers to regular units. When your weapons are armed by Train soilders, this will increase your Military Effectiveness, You can also remove attack/defence training, to allow you to reallocate troops from one category to the other.
You cannot reallocate spies
* Upgrade Covert Skill makes all of your spies more powerful - it is a very effective way to increase the power of your spies.
* Upgrade Unit Production allows you to conscript soldiers from the local populace - every 10 minuets this number of untrained soilders joins your army.

Intelligence

*The intelligence page contains two lists of information. The first is a list of any covert missions into your camp, which your own spies intercepted.
This may allow you to work out who has been spying on you, if some of their missions failed.
*The second list is Magic, This list shows any magic missions that where intercepted by your own magic. This also may allow you to work out who has been spying on you, if some of their missions failed.

Mercenaries

On this page you can see the details of your current troops, and you can hire mercenaries. Mercenaries can be hired as attack specialists, defence specialists, or all-purpose troops. Once hired, they cannot be retrained. Mercenaries cannot be spies, and do not contribute to the amount of gold you receive each turn, but they do boost your attack and/or defence strength (depending on what type of training they have). Mercenaries become available for hire at the start of each turn, but their numbers are limited and so there are often none available shortly after that. You can only have 25% of your army consisting of mercenaries.

Logout

The Logout option on the menu will log you out from Sanity Wars. This is useful if your computer is used by more than one person, to prevent others from accessing your account. If you stop using the site for a length of time, you will be automatically logged out anyway - this is to help reduce the load on the busy webserver.

Races:

Each race in Sanity Wars has a particular area in which they excel. These can work to your advantage in gaining higher rankings, so it is worth considering them before choosing your race:
* Angels earn 25% more gold each turn than the other three races. This can be used to buy more weaponry or train more soldiers.
* Undeads are 25% better at Magical Power than any other race. This can be a great advantage when sending spells on other people and protecting yourself against other people's spells
* Demons attack with 35% more strength than the other races. The advantages to this are obvious, giving you a much better chance of defeating other armies in combat.
* Draconians are 40% stronger at defending than any other race. This makes it more likely that they will withstand enemy attacks, enabling them to keep their gold for themselves.

Recruiter Guidelines

Definition: A methodical system of gaining officers, or soldiers, where participants click on each other's links. Such a system may be automated, partially automated, or completely manual.

Any such recruiting systems or "recruiters" must adhere to the following guidelines:

Any recruiting system must display the Sanitywars recruit click-through page IN FULL, WITHOUT MODIFICATION, in a standard and well-known graphical web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, etc.).
Recruiting click-through images must be recognized and clicked by a human being without the aid of optical recognition software.
Failure to adhere to the above posted rules and guidelines may result in account suspension or termination. Sanity Wars reserves the right to change these rules at any time, without notice.

Help for The New Features
Alignment: Those that follow the good path (sereta) are known as paladins and fight the good fight, their alignment is always above 0. Evil vanquishers follow (Deagon) and try to kill paladins whenever possible, there alignment is always negative. Then you have the fence sitting neutrals, these guys just cant make up their mind and get killed by both paladins and vanquishers.

Tokens: These are used to gamble in one of the fine casinos found within the city. You can buy Tokens at the TokenShop in the City.

Platinum: This is one of the rarer currencies found within Sanity Wars, You can use platinum for a stay at the inn.
